West Red Lake keeps hitting width at Madsen — 10.22 g/t over 13.35 m is the number that counts

West Red Lake Gold (TSXV: WRLG) released underground results from the Madsen Mine in Red Lake, Ontario. The grades that lead the release — 43.38 g/t Au over 3.85 m and 53.87 g/t Au over 3.1 m from the Austin 904 Complex — are high, but narrow. At roughly three to four metres, they confirm continuity of a known high-grade structure without adding much tonnage.

The intercept worth underlining is 10.22 g/t Au over 13.35 m from the Austin 955 Complex at about 600 m depth. On a grade-times-width basis that is roughly 136 g/t·m — comparable to the narrower high-grade hits and, because it is spread over 13 metres, far more forgiving to mine. Width at grade is what turns a vein into a mining shape.

Madsen is a restart story, so the read-through is less about discovery and more about whether the reserve grade holds as they drill it off. These results support that thesis at depth. As disclosed in West Red Lake's July 7, 2026 material change filing on SEDAR+.
