North American Niobium stakes a Québec carbonatite — prospective geology, zero drilling

North American Niobium and Critical Minerals (CSE: NIOB) acquired, by staking, the Kanawata property roughly 50 km south of Wemotaci in Québec's Grenville Province. The pitch is geological pedigree: the ground covers an interpreted ijolite-carbonatite alkaline intrusion — the same class of rock that hosts the world-class Oka and Niobec niobium-REE complexes in Québec.

Carbonatite affinity is a legitimate reason to be interested, because that is where niobium and rare-earth deposits live. But staking ground over an interpreted intrusion is the very first step. There is no drilling, no grade, and 'interpreted' means the intrusion is inferred from geophysics and geology, not yet confirmed by the drill.

This is an early-stage land position with a good geological thesis and everything still to prove. The sequence from here is mapping and geophysics, then a first drill test — each of which can end the story. As disclosed in North American Niobium's July 8, 2026 material change filing on SEDAR+.
