Cascadia's 106.62 m of 1.09% CuEq at Carmacks is real width — mind the 'Eq'

Cascadia Minerals (TSXV: CAM) released first results from its 15,000-metre program at the road-accessible Carmacks Copper-Gold Project in central Yukon. Hole CD-26-046 returned 106.62 m of 1.09% CuEq at Zone 2000S — a bulk-tonnage width that, if it repeats, is exactly the kind of near-surface material a heap-leach or open-pit operation is built on.

The discipline point is the 'Eq.' CuEq bundles gold into the copper number, so a 1.09% CuEq is not 1.09% copper. Cascadia helpfully disclosed the higher-confidence core: 23.15 m of 1.42% Cu with 0.51 g/t Au. That interval — real copper grade with a real gold credit over 23 metres — is the part you can underwrite without arguing about metal-price assumptions.
